Titus Revolution
Titus Revolution
As Christians we are faced with big challenges as the influence of Christianity in our culture recedes. Increasingly Christians are being pushed to the margins of society. The question many ask is: what can we do?
Through clear and accessible exposition of Paul’s letter to Titus, this book proposes that the most important thing churches and Christians can do is to cultivate godliness. It looks at how godliness is established through godly ministry (of leaders and church members) and godly leadership in local churches then expressed through the godly lifestyle of Christians and godly citizenship or engagement with the world.
Faced with the big challenges of an increasingly hostile culture, this book will deepen and broaden Christians’ understanding of what godliness is, why it matters and how it can be nurtured in local churches so that Christians can live faithfully in the world.
I am excited about this book. Kenneth Brownell, a seasoned pastor, has unpacked the heart of Paul’s revolutionary message to Titus and made it impactful to today’s readers. His emphasis on nurturing godliness in and through the local church is both refreshing and stimulating!

This book is a refreshing read as the author calls for nothing less than a revolution, reminding us of the importance of being God-centred in our church practice, and in every area of life.
